Rules of this page, so you know what you're looking at: everything listed I've used myself or handled in person. No "RRRP inflation" — the "was" price is what it genuinely sold for recently, not an invented number. If I think a deal is only good for some people, the note column says so. And when something sells out or the price reverts, it comes off the table rather than sitting there looking pretty.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 (Ryzen 5 7530U, 16GB, 512GB) £549 £429 Amazon 20 Oct Best value machine of the year — full thoughts. Noisy fan.
27" 1440p 100Hz IPS monitor (height-adjust) £169 £149 Amazon 19 Oct My pick #1 from the monitors post, £20 cheaper. Terrible OSD buttons.
Refurb ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 (i5, 16GB, 256GB) £320 £259 eBay (accredited seller) while stock lasts Stock rotates weekly. Read the checklist first — battery report before buying.
1TB NVMe SSD (PCIe 3.0, DRAM-less) £74 £52 Amazon 17 Oct Great second/games drive, not a speed-demon boot drive.
Asus Vivobook S14 OLED (Ryzen 7, 16GB) £699 £629 Currys 31 Oct The best cheap OLED in my book. Overkill for notes, lovely for media work.
USB-C hub, 6-in-1 (HDMI 4K, 100W passthrough) £35 £19 Amazon 21 Oct Gets warm under load. Fine for a desk, wouldn't leave it plugged in permanently.
Dual monitor arm, gas spring £62 £41 Amazon 26 Oct Solved my desk clutter. Clamp is chunky — check your desk thickness.
Full-size wireless keyboard + mouse combo £45 £29 Argos 24 Oct Noticeable input lag on the mouse for fast-paced gaming. For office work, perfectly fine.

A word on the one that isn't here: the £349 8GB laptop that's currently plastered across every advert break is deliberately absent. It's not a deal, it's the same machine with £80 off and half the RAM of the IdeaPad. My reasoning is in this month's deals post.
